The Western Journal of Emergency Medicine: Integrating Emergency Care with Population Health (WestJEM.org) is the premier open-access Medline-indexed EM journal in the world. As the official journal of ACOEP, the California Chapter of AAEM, and California ACEP, WestJEM focuses on how emergency care affects the health of the community and population, and conversely, how these societal challenges affect the composition of the patient population who seek care in the emergency department.
